Two workshops and an Interview with Hilary Mantel

12pm-2.00pm: Writing a Synopsis workshop Debbie Taylor, novelist, broadcaster and founder of Mslexia, takes you through exercises to help you communicate what your novel is really about to an agent or editor. 

3.00pm-5.00pm: First Paragraph workshop novelist and tutor Lesley Glaister takes you through exercises to help you create an arresting first paragraph that will seize readers’ attention and encourage them to read on. This workshop is designed for novelists and short story writers. 

7.00pm: Interview with Hilary Mantel 

Note: workshops are for women only; 20 participants maximum.
